AGENDA
WELCOME ATTENDEES:
This meeting is open to any and all families impacted by the incidents resulting from the mishandling of mortuary and/or crematories in Colorado as well as any local businesses and citizens who may wish to be part of this effort.
PURPOSE OF THE MEETING:
The purpose of this meeting is to identify those who are going to be part of this team, as well as the initial goals of the project.
- We need to sign up a minimum of 100 interested families who are interested in the Project.
Based on the scope and magnitude of the project, this is the minimum number needed to
official - Establish the initial components that are required to begin organizing the Project. These
components are essential to meet legal, marketing, fund-raising and other requirements to get
the Project started. - Identify volunteers and responsibilities that will lead major components for the team.
INITIAL COMPONENTS OF THE PROJECT:
The following list identifies the initial components that are critical to the start of the project. Until these are completed, we will not be able to begin.
- Name of the Memorial
- Location of the Memorial
- Officially establish the organization and mission of the Memorial Team. Identify the Mission
Statement for the Non-Profit Organization. - Elect the Directors of the Organization (President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Outreach
& Marketing) - Establish Responsibilities & Timelines for the Project Components
MAJOR COMPONENTS OF THE PROJEECT:
The following items will need to be completed prior to moving forward on the Project. This represents the initial components. This list will expand as the Project moves forward.
- Identify the marketing of the Project
- Identify how we will be reaching out to other members to be part of the team.
- Identify the initial components of the Memorial
- Identify the initial design of the Memorial
- Identify the initial cost and potential subsequent cost of the Memorial
- Identify the counties & legislative district impacted
- Identify County Commissioners for counties impacted
- Identify financial resources for the Memorial
VOLUNTEERS, RESPONSIBILITIES & TIMELINES: We will begin identifying volunteers along with their responsibilities. This is a very critical part of the meeting and the Project as a whole.
ACTION ITEMS: We will list the action items and the person or persons responsible that were committed
to at the meeting.
